I recently experienced my first birth as a doula! One more to go until I get my certification. I loved being able to help my client during a busy, emotional, and wonderful night when her son came into the world.
I am currently a nursing student at University of Rochester, NY and I am thrilled to be starting clinical rotations in obstetrics! Hopefully I will have plenty of opportunities to put my doula training to good use.
